Located at Highlands End Holiday Park with spectacular views over Bridport and West Bay, Martin’s Bar & Restaurant is an award-winning, modern, family-owned venue open to all. Celebrated for our casual dining and dedication to local South West produce, we pride ourselves on great regional food in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Martin’s Bar is home to a truly impressive collection of fire fighting memorabilia, collected over 30 years by Martin Cox. Come and see the 1936 Leyland fire engine and the 1902 Merryweather horse-drawn steam engine on display! With the Little Fire Station Soft Play to keep the kids entertained, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family.

We are serving up a fresh taste of Dorset. Our locally-sourced menu features plenty of delicious vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options alongside our signature local meats.

We are passionate about local produce. Our menu features hand carved ham from Framptons Butchers, fresh sourdough from Bridport Bakery, and even lamb from our own Highlands End Farm.

Sunday Carvery

Our popular carvery is has 2 hour sittings available at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.

Regular Plate: £19 | Small Plate: £14

Choose from a selection of succulent home-roasted meats, seasonal vegetables and all the classic trimmings you crave, including fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes and tender new potatoes.

The Little Fire Station

Visit our 70 sq metre indoor soft play area, for children aged 6 and under (130cm or shorter). The fire engine themed play area is a safe and engaging space to explore.

Entry fees are £3.50 for 2-6 year olds and £2 for under 3s. Loyalty cards and party bookings are available. Please pay at the bar, or if the bar is closed, access and pay for the soft play via Highlands End Leisure Club.

Dog Friendly

A welcoming haven for dog owners, “Martin’s” offers a spacious and modern dog-friendly venue.

Dogs are welcome in designated indoor areas and the beer garden, with water bowls provided and a small dog menu. An exercising meadow is a 10 min walk away, with the Coast Path and Eype Beach beyond.
