(currently closed)

Government guidance now states that soft plays can re-open, but we do not feel this can be done safely under this guidance, so we will be remaining closed for the foreseeable future. Please check back on this page or the Little Fire Station Soft Play Facebook Page for future updates on when we are able to re-open – thank you for your patience. The outdoor play area (for 5 to 14 year olds) remains open and we are the most spacious family dining venue in town!

The Little Fire Station is 70 square metres of indoor soft play area, suitable for children aged 6 and under. The Soft Play is open daily from 9am to 5pm (last entry 4pm) from February to November, with limited opening times outside of these dates. The entry fee is £3.50 for 2 to 6 year olds and £2 for under 2s. Loyalty cards are available that give you a discount off 10 visits and if you are a holidaymaker staying for a short break or a week, there are reduced price passes for unlimited use of the Soft Play – find out more. Children must be supervised at all times and refreshments are available all day, including ‘children’s lunchboxes.’ Only food & drink purchased at Martin’s Bar & Restaurant may be consumed on the premises.

CHILDREN’S PARTIES (currently unavailable)

Within Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, there are a range of board games and 2 pool tables, perfect for a rainy day or any day for that matter! Out in the garden, there is a children’s playground suitable for 5 to 14 year olds. Take a walk down through the holiday park and you will find a larger adventure play area near the coast path in the touring and camping area with new fire engine themed equipment. This is also suitable for 5 to 14 year olds.

There is a free nature trail walk which is a lovely 2 or 3 mile route around the park, coast path and surrounding land, taking in the Mower’s Mead Wildlife Lake, “Bee Bank” and Bug Hotel. Pick up a copy of the nature trail leaflet and collect the letters as you go around the trail, then simply unscramble the words, write them on the sheet and put it in the box next to the bar for the chance to win a prize.

Visit the Park Shop to have a game on the 9 hole Pitch ‘n’ Putt Course. Overlooking the coast, the Pitch ‘n’ Putt course is suitable for all ages and abilities and is a great way to spend an hour or 2 on a nice day.
