THE LITTLE FIRE STATION SOFT PLAY
The Little Fire Station is 70 square metres of indoor soft play area, suitable for children aged 6 (or 130cms) and under. Opening times can be found on the footer of this website. If the main Bar & Restaurant is closed, you can access and pay for the Soft Play via Highlands End Leisure Club.
The entry fee is £3.50 for 2 to 6 year olds and £2 for under 2s.
Advance notice: The Little Fire Station Soft Play will be unavailable from the 6th December to the 1st January due to essential maintenance works. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
LOYALTY CARDS
If you are a holiday maker staying for a short break or a week and think you might use the soft play multiple times, there are reduced priced passes available to purchase – please speak to a member of the team during your stay.
If you live locally and use the soft play regularly why not purchase a Soft Play Loyalty Card – £15 for Under 2s and £25 for 2-6 year olds for 10 visits (Saving £10 per pass). These can be purchased from a member of the bar team.
Children must be supervised at all times. Only food & drink purchased on the premises may be consumed here. Please note, this section of the restaurant is not dog-friendly.
CHILDREN’S PARTIES
During certain times of year, you can host your children’s party here, with prices including a meal for each child. Parties are not available during school holidays. Please contact us at bar@wdlh.co.uk to find out more.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Within Martin’s Bar & Restaurant, there are a range of board games and pool tables, perfect for a rainy day or any day for that matter! Out in the garden, there is a children’s playground suitable for 5 to 14 year olds and a boules area. Take a walk down through the holiday park and you will find a larger adventure play area near the coast path in the touring and camping area with fire engine themed equipment. This is also suitable for 5 to 14 year olds.
Dorset Foot Golf is located just around the corner from Martin’s Bar & Restaurant. Book online or visit the Spar shop where you collect footballs and a scorecard to complete the family-friendly 18 hole course with obstacles and a fantastic view over the coastline.
There is a free nature trail walk which is a lovely 2 or 3 mile route around the park, coast path and surrounding land, taking in the Mower’s Mead Wildlife Lake, “Bee Bank” and Bug Hotel.
